Helen Manis speaks at House of Commons to advise on
treatment of Ukrainian Refugees

On the 9th March 2022, Helen Manis spoke at the House of Commons, acting as a witness for the Home Office policy on Ukrainian refugees, HC 1193.
The purpose of the meeting was to review the current offer for protection and sanctuary for Ukrainian people by the Government and how that is working.
Helen is one of the 300 pro bono lawyers who have been volunteering with the Ukraine family scheme. Helen spoke as an advocate for the Ukrainian Refugees she has been supporting; highlighting the limitations of the current treatment of Ukrainian Refugees seeking to enter the UK.
