As of 17th February 2022 the Tier 1 investor visa route is closed for new applicants. The change comes following and in-depth review of the scheme by the Home office which highlighted concerns that funds were being accumulated through illicit means.
The deadline to extend under this category is 17th February 2026 and the deadline to apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) is 17 February 2028.
